Books and people are nice

Commute is a pain but nothing else

The people at this library are amazing. Everybody is interesting and passionate about what they do. The work is enjoyable, rewarding, and fun for the most part. Management is generally very supportive of staff.

The pay, even for PSA roles, is low in comparison to the cost of living in the area and the wages at neighboring libraries. There are also very few opportunities for full-time advancement, and almost none beyond the PSA level.
