Pros
As a whole, I do believe that Weyerhaeuser is a good company to work for. They have good benefits, regular performance reviews, and an array of opportunities. The cons of this review are specifically related to the Technology Center in Federal Way management team. The technicians I worked with were very hard workers with great communication amongst each other.
Cons
Regrettably, the management team at the Technology Center in Federal Way is shameful. My management was verbally and emotionally abusive. I requested that I not have meetings with them without a witness, which they, along with HR, told me was not an option. During a meeting with HR present, I confronted management about their behaviors. They flat out denied statements they had made and referred to my recollections as absurd. This is an incredibly toxic work environment with zero happy technicians. I would not recommend working in the technology center. They have pushed several dedicated, hard working employees out of the door in recent years. These people did not quit their jobs, they quit their managers.
