Wesleyan Response
4yThank you for taking the time to comment and share your thoughts. We’re sorry to read your review, and want you to know that we take all comments received seriously.
We recognise that we have had changes in our leadership, and we want you to know that we have recruited several diverse leaders recently and are continuing our journey to further achieve a diverse workforce at all grades. We have also introduced our ‘Smarter Ways of Working’ to enable people to work in a way that is agile and meets the need of an individual and Wesleyan.
In terms of targets - we are on a journey to positively address underrepresentation, something that is sadly historically recognised in financial services. We’re committed to driving diversity and representation through many avenues, having signed up to many charters and diversity commitments (such as the Women in Finance Charter and 10,000 Black Interns scheme) to ensure we increase all forms of diversity and across Wesleyan Group.
The cultural and religious events we celebrate are chosen by our diversity networks. All Wesleyan employees are encouraged to join a diversity network, and to input. We have many more fantastic cultural and religious observances planned for next year.
I know that you may not wish to reach out, but if you do want to discuss your concerns in more detail, you can do so confidentially by reaching out to me directly (and confidentially). Thank you. Naheem Ahmed.
