Pros

Very loyal members, good focus on technology, looked at as a leading credit union in the industry

Cons

If you're not with the "in" crowd, nobody listens to you. CEO runs the place to satisfy his ego, not to do what's right for the members or the organization. They lost over $50 million dollars a few years ago due to bad, willfully uninformed decisions based on desire for "being cool" or "being big" vs. "being responsible."

Pros

Company works well together, teams are cooperative, focus on member experience is strong. Fully remote, good benefits. Company clearly has a good business model because they survived covid with no layoffs or closings and have continued to grow. Have to admire that.

Cons

In my interview I was told the goal is for most reps to be senior level by 18-24 months. I was not trained to be a tier II until after two years and they did not start my senior training until after 3 years and I ended up leaving. They hold a lot of people back in contact center and I think that explains a lot about the high turnover there. I ended up doing a lot outside of my normal job description that was not taken into account during reviews. It was an amazing experience, but difficult to include on resumes, as I was not given the proper titles or compensations for what I was doing. I ended up feeling taken advantage of, underpaid, and overworked. I
