Pros
Worked at Rolling Stone and the pay was pretty good compared to other media companies, great on the resume, decent work hours, was able to work with a lot of celebrities and big artists.
Cons
The turnaround at RS digital was crazy - the majority of employees have been there less than 2 years. There were many random layoffs with no warning and for political reasons, there was a total lack of communication on department goals, department goals would constantly change but employees weren't made aware of the new goals, there was terrible communication between the leaders of RS and heads of departments, employees seemed scared of Jann - "you don't want him to know your name", and last but not least employees had to pay for coffee.
