Pros
When I first started they were pretty lenient with the the hours, if I got there a little late I could leave a little later to make up the time and visa-versa. Supervisor were not breathing down you neck the whole time and it wasn’t a bad experience. Before I left the had a 4 day workweek.
Cons
If you didn’t know how to do something then the only people to ask were the people around you. The people above always said “ask so and so” because they didn’t know themselves. Left a lot to learned on the job. They implemented a stricter schedule before I left where you had to be there at a specific time and leave at that specific time. Also, as a grinder I could clock in where the machine guys clocked in. I had to go all the way through the other side of the factory (through machines where injury could occur) to clock into my station because we were grinders.
