Pros
Best part is the guys I work with. We are the highest trainned and best fire dept in the state. If there are any problems my BC it very good at working with me or anybody to solve it.
Cons
10 to 12 dollars per hour. You MUST have a second job just to live. The county commision and the leadership don't understand that good people are leaving, not beacuse they want to but because they have to, just to make ends meet. WEMA employes are treated like second rate citizens. Plus not have nearly enough people on shift to safely fight a fire, much less if there was a comerical fire.
