Pros

The job was fully remote

Cons

-There are numerous non-professional relationships between leadership and employees resulting in those employees receiving promotions, additional benefits, and/or bonuses. The result is absolutely demoralizing. This is on the commercial side, under Erin Wynn. -Managers and Directors are not vetted and often lack experience/knowledge; as a result Welocalize makes poor yet preventable decisions. -Performance reviews are nonexistant, despite a quarterly review system being put in place. Their highly touted "career framework" is communicated as a way to enable employees to grow and understand specifically, "where can i go from here?" along with what's expected at various points in their roles. However, behind the scenes it's only a way to prevent pay increases and salary adjustments for employees due to subjective criteria.

Pros

When there is work available, especially when this project first launched, you could make decent money. The Quality Improvement Program was once realistic and managers were accessible. They used to give us sick leave and it felt like a real job.

Cons

They took away our sick leave. Barely any work since Christmas, around 5 hours per week if you're lucky. The Quality Improvement Program has gone down the toilet. The quality checks constantly contradict the guidelines and the feedback from management is often contradictory and wildly inconsistent depending on the turnover. Lower level employees are constantly afraid of losing their job because there are random firings every quarter with no explanation.
