Pros
A good place to learn the ins and outs of localization project management and dip your toes in the industry. It all depends on who you work with, some teammates can be great, communicative, and willing to teach you. Others not so much.
Cons
Excessive workload, meager compensation compared to being in-house, and the benefits package is too expensive. Poor communication skills are rampant.
