Pros
1. The company is becoming more structured, with a stronger focus on teamwork, accountability, ownership, and a performance-driven culture. 2. It's encouraging to see employees being recognized and rewarded based on their actual contributions and performance rather than everyone being treated the same regardless of results. 3.Initiatives are introduced from the management to improve communication with employees, such as coffee vouchers and formal mid-term review sessions. 4. Happy to see HR taking the initiative to engage with employees, listen to feedback, and better understand their concerns. These efforts help employees feel heard and show that the company is genuinely working towards building a better and more supportive workplace culture. 5. No single approach can satisfy everyone, but overall, from my perspective, the company is moving towards a more professional way of working.
Cons
1. Too many noises & always pull handbrake. Management could be more aligned on the company's direction and key decisions. Be firm on what've been decided and aligned. 2. Better cross-functional collaboration and alignment between departments would improve execution. HOD should lead by examples. 3. Some HOD/managers could be more involved in supporting and mentoring the teams rather than taking a hands-off management approach. Career development and growth opportunities could be made clearer for employees.
