Pros

There's nothing to like about Wellist, so don't even bother with the company. You'd be better off working anywhere else.

Cons

Fast-paced, demanding, and incredibly toxic are words that I would use to describe this company. Employees are exhausted all the time from having to meet unreasonable expectations all the time, and management being hostile certainly doesn't help at all. We're treated as nothing more than tools; our needs are neglected, and our feedback is always ignored.

Pros

Working at Wellist has been incredibly rewarding. We are able to be a resource for people when they need to find support, sometimes during their most challenging moments, such as a new diagnosis, caring for an aging parent, etc. Wellist keeps the end user in focus at all times, and sets the bar incredibly high on the level of support we aim to provide. The team is wonderful, supportive, and willing to step in and help at any time. We are very focused on providing the best outcomes for each other, our end users, and our clients. Everyone has a unique perspective on the work we do and I love that we all use our voice to make sure that Wellist continues to get better every day. There are also ample opportunities to take on projects, help improve processes, and provide input on how to best adapt our operations and ways of working. Learning and growing is a huge part of the culture at Wellist.

Cons

The organization moves fast and has incredibly high standards, which at times can be demanding. It is a typical startup environment, so priorities and ways of working can change quickly and require flexibility.

Pros

Wellist is a mission-driven organization where the work is deeply connected to real patient and client outcomes. Despite being a smaller company, the team operates with a strong sense of ownership and urgency—everyone understands the impact of their role. There’s a clear expectation that every interaction—whether with clients, end users, or colleagues—is handled with a high level of care, empathy, and professionalism. That standard is not just stated, it’s consistently reinforced in day-to-day work. The team is collaborative, and people are willing to step in to support each other when needed. The company also makes a point to bring teams together at least once a year for an offsite, which helps reconnect people and ground everyone back in the mission behind the work. If you’re someone who values meaningful work and is comfortable operating in an environment with high expectations, it can be a very rewarding place to grow.

Cons

The same high standards that make the work meaningful can also make it demanding. Priorities can shift quickly, and the pace may not be the right fit for everyone—especially those looking for more structure or predictability.
