- Complementary/early access to app and new features - Monthly full-org team huddles give an idea of the trajectory of company as a whole - Ability to move up or laterally to a new department of interest - Company listens to client feedback and implements most highly-requested features accordingly - Innovation opportunities; org is working to adapt and compete within the fitness app market - Some team members are truly genuine and are outstanding at what they do - you can learn a lot from them even if they’re in another dept

- Lack-luster diversity and inclusion initiatives; mostly for show now that D&I is trendy - Little to no health and safety protocols regarding pandemic preparedness; what was in place put all responsibility on individuals - Bottom line and sales are what’s most important; often lean on “we’re all a big family” type tropes to get employees to take on extra projects that are out-of-scope - Skilled individuals may be vulnerable to burnout; requires employees set firm boundaries - Poor execution of inter-departmental integration in some areas; work can feel isolating - Expectations of position were not always clear
