Pros

I've been fortunate to work with a lot of teams in different areas of technology in the SF Bay Area, and Welkin is by far my favorite. I believe I'd be hard pressed to find a more thoughtful, respectful, inclusive, compassionate, fun-loving, and hard-working collection of people. Even if we weren't focused on a healthcare-centric mission to improve care delivery and patient experiences, I'd stay for the people. I learn and grow from my interactions and experiences with them on a weekly, if not daily, basis.

Cons

Not many, to be honest, but these are what come to mind: - due to so much work to be done with so few resources, many people choose to overwork themselves even at the behest of leaders asking them not to - while we practice a culture of open and honest feedback, both critical and complementary, i think some people are still hesitant to deliver critical feedback or are unsure how to do so without offending or know if it will be received well - we would all love more information before making decisions, but we could get better at deciding and moving forward more quickly despite having imperfect information, knowing that will get plenty wrong but can course correct

Pros

Excellent team members. Transparent leadership, strong product.

Cons

Remote work only makes engaging with peers less than absolutely ideal, but they do a good job keeping the team engaged.

Pros

In office snacks Coffee Office Location

Cons

Welkin Health might have started with promise, but unfortunately, it seems to have lost its way. From my experience, the company shows no signs of having a viable future. Strategic vision is lacking, innovation appears to be stalled, and leadership seems disconnected from both employees and the broader industry trends. The culture is particularly disappointing. Instead of fostering collaboration and positivity, the environment feels toxic and mismanaged. Communication is poor, transparency is nonexistent, and morale among employees seems to be at an all-time low. Efforts to build a strong team are undermined by an apparent lack of care or investment in the well-being of the staff. While Welkin Health might have been a good idea on paper, in practice, it’s an example of how poor leadership and culture can derail a company. Unless drastic changes are made, it’s hard to see a bright future for this organization. If you’re considering working here or partnering with them, I’d strongly recommend thinking twice.

This review was not helpful as it is completely untrue and does not portray an accurate representation of Welkin. I do not believe this was posted by someone who has ever been employed by Welkin Health. - Pros - These are not accurate for Welkin Health. Welkin does not have offices, we do not serve coffee or snacks and are fully remote. - Cons - Welkin is run by a leadership team that puts their staff first and runs on a highly transparent and collaborative level. Our teams work closely together and are aligned when it comes to onboarding new customers, fostering new relationships and expanding into new markets. Welkin's teams have been praised by their customers as being highly efficient and organized through the implementation process to ensure their customers needs have been met and implementation has been executed smoothly. This is mainly due to the collaborative effort of all of our teams. Leadership implores our teams to lead processes and strives for excellence. The culture at Welkin is strong and our customers feel the sense of collaboration and community. I believe this review is inaccurate and not a review of someone who has worked at Welkin.
