Pros

Very professional 8-5 environment in office. Lots of Paid OT on production floor. Health/dental benefits 3 months after start date, 401K after 6 months. If hourly, there is $500 drawing for perfect attendance every quarter. Coworkers are very helpful and friendly. You won't run into any drama in the office. Extra paid week off around Christmas instead of traditional bank holidays. Management is very understanding for health/personal/ family problems that may affect attendance.

Cons

On the production floor there is a rule of no cell phones at all. No music, and no headphones allowed. You have set schedules for two 15 breaks and lunch that a loud buzzer signals. If you are one minute late you will get written up, you can get written up multiple times in one day and be suspended. I have worked in worse environments, but the morale is so low that even though they need a 2nd shift to complete work load they cannot keep a full crew on production floor. Because of that - it results in high stress, unrealistic deadlines, lower quality product and mandatory OT (which is paid time and a half at least). Very little opportunity for advancement, days spent working late to make sure things get done will not ever get mentioned on review time. Poor structure for performance based raises- unless you are in sales. The most popular way people get a raise at the company is to put two weeks in for another job. I also have never worked at a company where so many people are related whether by blood or law (not necessarily negative, just reality). Notice there is only one other review of the company on here - partially because most of WTC is above 40+. Which again isn't necessarily a bad thing, just reality. WTC still uses paper time cards even with free web based programs. The equipment and test stations are old, you will still find a few tube monitors in work stations on floor. The facility is old, and not professionally cleaned. There is a layer of visible dirt and dust on all the vents, drains, windows, blinds, and permanent dirt tracks on carpet in office area. It shows a lack of respect for employees, and one more reason why morale is low.
