Former Employee at Weinstein & Riley (NM) - Litigation Paralegal Weinstein & Riley PS Employee Review

Pros

While there may be some shortcomings in the company overall, the remote offices had some more autonomy in how they handled matters unlike the other reviews posted on this site show. The corporate office does have it struggles, but really everyone is doing the best that they can with what they are given. The truth in the matter is the effort you put in is what you will get out of it! The occasional times that you may need to stay late to get something completed is more out of need for the attorneys at the firm than a demand of the company. If you come to work for Weinstein & Riley the expectation that you may have to work hard and possibly pick up from other/former employees slack may be apparent, but they do a great job of recognizing those employees who take that extra step. Many other people in the legal world try to do the bare minimum to not get more work assigned to them, but this will not cut it here. Work hard, try your best and you will be successful within the firm!

Cons

If you are not willing to put in your effort to further yourself in the firm than it can be difficult for advancement within the company. As stated previously, this job is about what you put into it. If you can't handle the pressure or a fast paced environment than this may not be the company for you.

Pros

There was nothing good about this company. Every employee was miserable.

Cons

That CEO/owner is something else. He has zero personal skills and doesn’t care about his employees. He used to call a great seasoned attorney, a “clown”. To his face
