Pros

The people were okay. I never found myself thinking, "Why am I working there?"

Cons

I have a lot of television experience. One day I said to one of my Weigel coworkers, "Is it my imagination or is everyone here really young?" Turns out I was right. Weigel's business model is to have one person with proven tv experience supervise a particular department. The rest of the employees in that department are (mostly) fresh out of college and looking for television experience. They are paid chump change (they could easily make more at Walmart). And so...Weigel gets the work done on the cheap and the kids get valuable tv experience...and then they leave because they finally come to understand that they have been taken advantage of.

Pros

- Pretty chill laid back company with okay benefits. - Safe, stable company to work for. - Company provides the right tools to get the job done.

Cons

- Really wish Weigel didn't go through United Health Care for insurance. - Higher ups in HR are rude, not helpful, and unapproachable. - Higher ups in the company don't really want original content. They want to keep reusing already successful content. They do not want to take creative risks.
