Pros

The people at Webolutions are all awesome. During my three month internship I learned a variety of skills and received guidance from very talented co-workers. There was always something different to do. Everyone really cares about making Webolutions a comfortable work environment, which I greatly appreciated.

Cons

Since Webolutions is a small company everyone is expected to help out where necessary, while this isn't necessarily a con, it is something to be aware of.

Pros

The coworkers are great and the ability to work remotely is also a great benefit.

Cons

During my time here Ive seen some stuff thats kind of worrying about where we're headed. The big shots set these huge goals which is cool and all but they're so out there that we haven't hit them for over two years now And the bar keeps getting raised. When I first joined they talked up these bonuses but with these pie-in-the sky targets, thats turned out to be more of a maybe than a sure thing. We spend heaps of time in meetings which cuts down on the time we've got for the real work with clients. End of the day it means a lot of us are burning the midnight oil and that's started to feel more like the norm than the exception. There always talk about making things better and growing but the only big change we've seen is switching to remote work and that's just cause of the pandemic There a bit of a tense vibe among the team especially when it comes to dealing with the higher-ups The turnover rate says it all we've seen 8 out of 14 people head out in just two years. That's not a great sign. Plus there this thing where they want us to write really positive reviews about working here but they won't always match up with what folks actually feel. Favoritism and nepotism are pretty noticeable especially in a small team like ours If you're thinking about joining maybe hit up some people who used to work here first. They'll give you the real deal which you might not get in an interview. We gotta look at these things if we want to keep this place on the up and up. A more down-to-earth approach with our goals how we manage our time and being cool with honest feedback could really help us get on a better track.
