Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. Firstly, we want to say that we encourage honest and constructive feedback. While we always strive to maintain a balance between providing guidance and granting autonomy, we recognize that there’s always room for improvement. We are committed to continuous learning and growth, and our management team is actively engaged in professional development. Our commitment to fostering a culture of trust and open communication is reflected in our practices. 1- For instance, all layers of management, including the founders, are made accessible at all times. 2- We also send out internal and anonymous surveys to gather feedback from our team about management and overall workplace satisfaction. 3- Additionally, we prompt our team to fill out a digital Anonymous Suggestion box monthly, and we’re happy to say that it is frequently used. 4- On a yearly basis, we employ a 3rd party, independent workplace survey company called “Great Place to Work” in order to get professional insight about our workplace conditions. 5- Lastly, we conduct regular 1 on 1s focusing on the employee experience and exploring work-life balance. These initiatives are aimed at ensuring every voice is heard, valued and actioned. In fact, we are proud to be certified “Great Place to Work”, ranked 18th in Canada for “Best Workplaces” list, and have earned their “Best Workplaces for Mental Wellness” list. We believe these are some of the reasons why our employee retention rate is 89%. The review suggests that our management fosters a culture of secrecy and lack of transparency. We take such feedback seriously and are continuously working to uphold our values which include above all transparency. We go as far as to instruct all leaders to “overshare” with the team. We share information about the company’s financial condition, we talk about our plans to navigate the market conditions, as well as discuss the wider economy. That said, we can always do better and will strive to do so. We invite you to reach out to us directly to discuss your experience further. We believe in transparent communication and would like to understand more about your perspective to learn and improve. Thank you once again for your feedback. Sincerely, The Webistry Team

Pros

Working at Webistry has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The team is collaborative, supportive, and passionate about driving results for clients. One of the highlights has been the effective collaboration across various teams. Everyone, from leadership to fellow strategists, designers, and developers, is approachable, understanding, and always willing to lend a hand. This has created a positive work environment where everyone feels valued and connected. As an Experimentation Strategist, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, particularly in the realm of A/B testing and digital optimization and research. The company fosters a growth-oriented environment, providing plenty of opportunities to learn and advance your skills. Leadership is approachable and genuinely cares about employee well-being, contributing to a positive and inclusive work culture. The flexible work environment is also a huge plus.

Cons

While Webistry has a strong internal team and excellent service offerings, I believe there’s room to grow in terms of attracting more clients by building a more CRO-focused sales team. Strengthening the sales team's understanding of conversion optimization and its value could help expand the client base and drive further growth.

Pros

Great team culture with people who are collaborative and willing to help. A solid place to learn media buying, especially for a first role.

Cons

Good place to learn for a short time, but not ideal for long-term growth or strong earning potential. Management is very hands-on and tends to micromanage. Workload expectations are high compared to compensation.
