Pros

Lots of opportunities for learning and growth. Team was kind, supportive, and lots of fun. Kevin Getch provided strong thought leadership and a positive, visionary attitude that inspired the team. Benefits improved over time and were always improving based on feedback from the team, which was encouraged. Constructive feedback was a regular part of each week, which I enjoyed and benefited from. There was a strong focus on planning fun events to encourage a strong company culture. Education was also emphasized, and we attended one-two conferences per year, which were great learning and networking opportunities. I also enjoyed the small size of the company, which enabled me to contribute in a meaningful way. Communication between departments was strong, so I learned a great deal about design and development. Lots of philosophical discussions developed that helped shape who I am as a marketer. Team was able to work from home 2x per week, which was a huge benefit for me, as I am a natural introvert and work best with a mix of quiet and collaboration.

Cons

Pay was on the low end of the spectrum when I worked there, and after-hours work was sometimes required to keep up with the workload. However, I hear after-hours work is now discouraged, so I assume workload has stabilized. This is definitely an important part of accommodating individuals with families, who can be some of the most dependable employees.

Pros

When I started here I really enjoyed everything about it. I felt apart of a great company to work for that offered a lot back to its employees. I enjoyed the people I worked with. I felt proud of where I worked and was hopeful for the future. I felt like I'd found a long term career with a growing company...until I didnt.

Cons

In some ways it felt like a slow sinking ship. There was a lot of turnover and during my time there they'd placed a lot of their focus and energy into 1 or 2 main clients to help keep cashflow coming in. After the loss of one of those clients they had to make serious cutbacks including cuts to their staff. Lots of poor management both on projects and with employees as well as a lack of accountability. At times it felt like the company was just a ship at sea with no direction or captain just drifting aimlessly.
