Pros

We used Web Teks at my company for info system support. They were very responsive when needed and fine for simple, routine tasks.

Cons

To say this company nickel and dimes their clients would be an understatement. We spent more time going back and forth with cost than we did getting work done. They claim to do everything but in doing so are masters of none, which eats up time and cost. And their president Tom Walker, will do whatever it takes to benefit himself and his best interests, including blatent backstabbing. We could never trust him and thus no longer do business with this company.

I am sorry to hear you didn't have a good experience working (with or for?) Web Teks. We take an agnostic approach in our solution recommendations for our clients. We work with them to find the best solution(s), whether we do the proposed work or not, for their needs and that includes providing options within their budget. We will certainly consider your comments of being “nickel and dimed,” as that isn’t the case and don’t want any client to feel this way. If you worked “for” Web Teks, you know Tom has been the biggest advocate within the company for our clients. Thanks for your feedback. It’s easy to hear kudos, but the lessons come from feedback, including constructive criticism. DW

Pros

- Family like atmosphere in the office, everyone looks out for each other. - Highly skilled and knowledgeable employees/management - Ability to telework when necessary - Good medical benefits - Varying scopes of work that allow for different folks to get involved with different teams to deliver product - Management encourages down time to be used for professional growth - Unique culture of people that is professional, yet fun. Strong backbone required! - Honest and candid conversations directly with executive level employees are welcomed without having to involve other members of management - If you express an interest in something, executive team will foster that growth and mentor you. - "Family first" environment, get your work done.. but management gets that life exists outside of work that may impact things on occasion.

Cons

- Teams can get defeated by redundant processes that management is hesitant to reevaluate - Medical benefits, while good, are pricey - No vision insurance. - Limited mobility due to company size
