Pros

You'll learn quickly because you're responsible for everything--from reporting/performance analysis and content writing to publishing, developer tasks, website editing, technical troubleshooting, etc.

Cons

Unsustainable workload with constantly shifting expectations and very little support from leadership. Zero structured training at any level of the organization, there are no paths for growth or advancement and they frequently hire from outside the company for management and leadership roles. Those hires are frequently fired as well. Complex new processes/initatives are frequently introduced without leadership demonstrating real execution experience or providing support with implementation. Employees are constantly being hired, then fired. It's a revolving door at this point. Client outcomes are frequently overpromised during the sales process, promising results that the infrastructure cannot actually support. This results in a lot of difficult conversations/calls, extremely dissatisfied clients, constant client churn, and then reactive decision-making from leadership. They advertise unlimited PTO, but it is not actually unlimited, you're not allowed to take more than 13 days. When you do take time off, you'll just have to get a full month's worth of work done in 2-3 weeks, because there is no coverage or support for employees taking PTO. "Bonuses" are constantly dangled, and after they finally rolled them out, and some employees finally met the criteria to get the bonus for the first time, they decided they needed to increase the qualifications, making it harder for people to get the bonuses. They do not want to pay you more. The CEO rarely communicates with staff, other than to come on meetings and reprimand them, blaming them for the failure of the company, or making inappropriate and unprofessional comments. There is no workplace culture or indication of caring about employees, creating a positive work environment. This place is an absolute nightmare and one of the worst places I've ever worked. Any reviews you see on here from current employees saying they've been there for 1+ year are not true. Things have gotten so bad, every single long-term employee has left the company in mass exodus.

Pros

I really enjoy working here because the team and leadership are all very friendly, supportive, and hard working. The office has lots of nice amenities, and the culture is friendly and warm. You'll never find yourself micro managed, but only encouraged to do your best work. It's fun to be a part of a company leading a niche industry because there is always opportunity to learn and grow.

Cons

No cons that I can think of.

Pros

If you're just starting your career in SEO, this may serve as a stepping stone. The expectations and oversight are minimal, largely because leadership lacks the expertise to effectively evaluate the quality of the work being done.

Cons

A truly terrible experience. Employees are constantly pressured to sell products and services that often don't seem to be in clients' best interests, while spending significant time reporting on irrelevant metrics simply to justify the fees clients are paying. Meanwhile, leadership appears completely disconnected from the realities of the business. The turnover alone speaks volumes: within a two-month span last year, three employees quit and one was abruptly fired—more than half of the entire SEO team. Much of this stemmed from new leadership that operated with an iron fist despite lacking a clear understanding of the work or the department they were managing. If you're considering joining this company, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
