Pros

- Employee Appreciation days. - Training was really thorough and learning processes within the company was strong.

Cons

Management needs more improvement since they are very disorganized. I found out key information from anybody but management unfortunately. The HR department promises things and never follows through with concerns. When bringing up an issue, was never contacted in a way that showed importance. High turnover for positions that were traded inside the company which means less pay. Low pay and false promise for advancement for employees that were there for years. Communication through different departments needs to be improved in professionalism, since there was many instances where it was inappropriate. Company culture was toxic and driven on favoritism. Inclusion was not implemented all across the board. Career opportunities are very limited.

Pros

1. The pay is great for a newly hired manager or supervisor. Non-exempt employee, not so great maybe, but it depends on what you are expecting too. 2. Training for all new employees is really good. From HR to GMPs to your main duties. 3. The company does a lot of little things throughout the year for their employees like lunches, gifts, b-day call outs, smaller holiday festivities, etc. 4. Super important thing the company does - if an employee is going through a hard time like losing a loved one, the company hosts fundraiser at their cost to raise money for the employee. I've never seen a company do this and it was great! 5. If you are in a leadership position, the company does offer training, and I don't mean a few hours online training. I mean months long 3rd party training to be a better leader. These trainings are only given in a college classroom, but the company wants to ensure their leadership are trained. Bonuses are given to company employees IF multiple goals are met, which include employee safety, customer complaints, GMP adherence during inspections and sales (obviously). Really good perk and drives everyone to be better and do better. 6. The people in general are great, I mean, every company has some P-I-T-A team members, but here, the majority were great to work with. This extends from the executive board and down. 7. Generally, a good work environment to look forward to on a Sunday night if you know what I mean. 8. The products being packaged here are great! Really popular online or in-stores like Costco, Walmart, Target, etc.

Cons

1. The pay rates for hourly employees need to be prioritized. The people on the frontlines who actually do the work should not be put on the back burner. 2. Health benefits are on the high side of cost. For a family, it's a big chunk a month. 3. Schedule and change with not much notice. This includes weekends. 4. As a manager, the work-life balance is or can be not great, but you can get used to it. I consistently worked 43-48 hours a week (not including phone calls after hours or weekends or times I went in super early or a weekend, yet I was made to feel like I didn't put enough hours in. Why?
