Pros

You are able to work from home and have 'unlimited' PTO

Cons

Everything else - Poor culture, inadequate pay, limited career growth, weak leadership, and a lack of recognition or appreciation. This used to be a great company to work for, but leadership has run it into the ground over the past few years. Since the current generation took full control of the family business, it hasn't been the same. The way staff are treated is unprofessional and unacceptable. Employees are moved between departments and roles whenever it suits leadership, with little to no explanation or consultation, often at the expense of people’s careers and professional growth. There have been instances of yelling and threats of job loss without valid justification - although, frankly, there is never a good reason to treat people that way. Not to mention multiple pregnant women and new fathers have even been let go after returning from parental leave. There is a complete lack of compassion, loyalty, or appreciation for the staff who helped build this company into what it used to be (emphasis on used). Today, the business is barely staying afloat, and its practices are becoming shadier and shadier - just look at the other reviews. If you interview here, they will sell you a dream: “we promote from within,” “there is real growth here,” and the classic “we’re like a family.” but it's a load of crap. Save your time and energy - I doubt this company will still be around in a year.

Pros

Literally not a single one.

Cons

This is a family run business that has completely lost its mission in the face of greed and delusion. The recommended remediation company is also run by, you guessed it, a family member. Talk about a massive conflict of interest. The owners care more about their personal brand and image than they do customers and employees. They jump from one stupid idea to the next, without consulting anyone who actually keep the business afloat. On that note, if you are seeking management at this company, don't expect to be informed on any metric related to the business itself or be looped into any strategy discussions for growth, development, or sustainment. The only numbers that matter are the dollar signs going into the owners bank accounts. The accountant and sole HR employee quit the business for a reason, of which the crux is not just "a better opportunity came up". You can read between the lines. Their business practices are not only predatory to potential customers, but they are predatory to their own employees with passive aggressiveness, diva behavior and borderline sexual harassment from one of the owners. But there's no HR, so it's okay, right? Diversity in leadership has been completely eliminated in favor of a panel of white "yes" men. Avoid this place like the plague. You will not be valued, and you will eventually be replaced by cheap overseas labor or a mediocre white man who thinks he knows what's best. And for potential customers who find this, do some real research on mold and mold testing before reaching out to these clowns and letting them scam you for thousands of dollars. They "partner" with doctors the same way pharmaceutical sales reps do, with slimy business practices and zero morals.
