Pros

really friendly company and great with keeping in contact

Cons

I was not given my contract immediately and instead participated in loads of zoom calls and work meetings, essentially a waste of time. The minute I got my contract in, it was not what I was told. I was under the assumption I would get a salary however, this was a contract saying I worked on commission and technically was not an employee of wave global but an independent sales adviser. When I raised my concerns with my manager, I was ignored for a week and then promised a work meeting to discuss that never happened.

Pros

No pros whatsoever, this is a scam and surely has to be illegal.

Cons

A HUGE SCAM! They lied to me about absolutely everything to do with the job: the salary, the hours and the actual job role. I applied for a Junior Marketing Assistant role...this got changed to """Account Executive"""...then got changed to a door-to-door sales role...which then got changed to telesales. I got told I would be making £300 a week plus commission, with the weekly salary increasing with the "extemely quick progression" (another lie!). This was not true, the job is in fact purely based on commission, so you don't get paid unless you sell. Showing up on my first day, me and about 50 other newbies got taken to a large room where they played music and cheered for each other...very cult-like. They then had me waiting around for 8 hours on my first day waiting to begin the job, before telling me to leave because they weren't ready for me. I quit the next day by sending a text as this was the only form of communication I had with the company. They didn't even respond. The biggest scam going. This business suite is located in Angel (23-26 St Alban's Place) and was previously occupied by Project Zinc and Altitude Acquisitions and now WAVE, and they're all the same scam.AVOID THIS SCAM. All they want is to manipulate students.

Pros

This company is a scam

Cons

THIS IS A SCAM! They promise you completely different things in the interview. I got offered a base salary and a position as a marketing assistant. Eventually, the role was a door to door sales man for Shell Energy. When I arrived the office was crammed full with people, some did not even have a desk. The employees were wearing cheap suits and no one was wearing a mask. The corona restrictions were not kept at all. The contract was completely different to the one they promised me in the interview. I could pick the date for my first day. On the first day I, I arrived with 40 new people (coincidance that we all start at the same day?) and were shown to a small room, in which huge speakers were placed. They started to play hip-hop music, which was so loud that you could barely hear your own word. They tried to motivate us while playing loud music and talking through the pitch. Suddenly a different group started to chant USA USA USA. After I heard this I went to the CEO of this company and told her that this is not a match. She replied: Ah ok so bye bye then. I stormed out of there.
