Pros

*They're focused on tangible solutions to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, using both non profit and corporate partnerships to make the biggest impact possible *Everyone I've interacted with is fully bought into the company mission and is working there for the right reasons * They are growing and evolving as an organization at the same time that a lot of their work is coming to fruition in the market *They're doing a good job of hiring a diverse workforce and have a flexible work culture

Cons

*It is a small start up culture with people spread throughout the country so if that work culture would bother you then it might not be a good fit

Pros

WattTime breeds a very collaborative, supportive, and inspiring environment to work in. The management and the entire team for that matter is extremely helpful, understanding, and fair. I was mainly a business development intern but due to the dynamic startup nature I was given the opportunity to help collaborate on a lot of aspects of the branding, product development, and marketing (mostly due to my own curiosity). I loved the creative-liberty-with-a-hint-of-guidance that I was given for developing biz dev strategies-- they give you the resources to source experience from previous employees and let you build your own methods from there. All in all it was an awesome experience working for a movement with so much potential, not to mention the willingness of all the team members to share their experience and knowledge with younger members. Thanks for everything WattTime!

Cons

As with all startups, there are many things that you have to figure out on your own or as you move along. I have worked for 3 startups now and this seems to be the norm-- with that said, working in such a unconstrained environment could take some getting used to if you come from a more institutional background
