      Management The Union Promotions are based specifically on how long your post secondary degree was, not on experience, continuing education, or certifications, and it doesn't matter what the degree is in, long as its 3 years.

      I Love working with children.

      There are no downsizes but if people can become permanent faster that would be awesome.

      -comparable salary -great benefits program -schools all have a different culture and background -multicultural school board -protective of employees and ensuring teachers have jobs

      Cons

      -head office is extremely busy - sometimes not efficient in operation -a lot of red tape -school board is in a smaller town -representatives are not always helpful
