Application process - Anonymous employee Waste Pro Employee Review

I began the application process only to find that they required all the information needed for a background check on the online application itself. Date of birth, social security number, driver's license number. I have no issue providing that if I am offered a job subject to the background check, but do not feel it appropriate for them to collect that data on everyone who as much as applies for a job.
