Pros

After reading the other reviews and working at the wsba myself, it is very clear that the only reason to work here (unless you are hired or promoted to the executive team, where the money is WAAYYY better and you can pawn your work off onto your minions) is the health insurance benefits. Yeah, there is the option of working four 10 hour days, but working there is so abhorrent that you will spend your flex day either sleeping the day away or drinking heavily. After much thought, however, i figured out what the true pro is: THIS IS A MANDATORY BAR, which means that you can rest assured that the attorneys/members are regulated to a certain degree. Think about it. John Q. Public NEEDS that protection.

Cons

Don't be fooled: this is a customer service job, no matter what department you are in. Add to that, the HORRIBLE upper management and the Executive Director who is constantly out glad-handling people at the other non mandatory bars and promising to do things that are never brought to fruition. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, the minions and stressed and belittled and undermined and the only minions who stay for any length of time are those who have allowed themselves to be so beaten down that they have convinced themselves that there is nothing better out there.

I appreciated the people I interfaced with. The job was fully remote with office space in downtown.
