Pros
If you work in production, love overtime and don't mind verbal abuse then this is the place for you. You can learn new skills, when thrown in at the deep end. Some really knowledgeable staff, it's a shame they're not in upper management with any real influence.
Cons
Arrogant senior management who constantly move the goal posts for productivity, confusing what is and isn't acceptable - but frequently flouting GxP standards. Overworked QA department coerced into unwanted overtime due to staffing shortages. Bare legal minimum pension contributions, no sick pay (not disclosed at interview or job offer stage because slippery clauses in employee handbook/contract would imply you normally would). No development opportunities for the vast majority of staff. Routine staff bullying goes unpunished as it is mainly perpetrated by senior management. Some incompetent staff are bulletproof because of their friendships with senior management. Massive turnover of staff - mostly in Quality. New QC supervisor with glowing review has been at Wasdell for a week - must be part of induction now to leave a good review.
