Pros

Somewhere to get a paycheck

Cons

Probably one of the worst work experiences I ever had it's not an overstatement to say that management will show up everyday to bully you with their corporate jargon and look down on you all while pedaling gossip with their favorites who they genuinely don't like but are afraid to bully because for one reason or another they took it too far and were reported to corporate by them.... If you get treated like a human being then you should feel lucky because working here management will treat you like you are the problem even though you are the solution you could show up to work every day and do your job as asked and still feel like you could lose your job at any moment they don't want you feeling comfortable in any way shape or form working for them I'm currently looking for a new job as we speak and would like nothing other than the truth to be heard by candidates interested in this position just know that there will be a lot of uncomfortable situations that you will be put into because they are severely understaffed and profiting heavily from it and you will get no credit for the work you do as a matter of fact they won't even look at you when they come in the mornings and when you get a write-up for something you apparently did it won't be anything they discussed with you prior to write up being presented to you and they will constantly play stupid with you and get offended when you try to backtrack their logic and ask for any further explanation.... I would liken this job to an abusive relationship where said abuser does everything in their power to make sure the relationship is so bad that at the point you try to explain it you look crazy and that is the most disrespectful part of this entire work experience in which I wish upon nobody the term stepped down will be used by a lot of the management who end up not meeting the qualifications of the positions they hold due to lack of communication skills and lack of critical thinking skills that could help the company benefit from the already chaotic environments that comes with a high volume 24/7 restaurant that is purposefully understaffed to give the management bigger bonuses as they rewash employees that weren't trained right from the beginning it's almost as if it's a revolving door of rehires who never quite got the proper waffle House experience because their management team did not take the time to Foster the proper relationship that produces a good quality working environment between properly trained staff that understand their roles and responsibilities they are really doing the company a huge Injustice and the only reason it's being overlooked is because of the money they are already making

Pros

Solid pay for the industry Okay benefits Employee stock purchase plan Pretty consistent hours The actual work is difficult, but fun after you get good at it. Upward momentum is difficult, but the pay scales very well if you work your way up into management. Prepare for intense work if you do though.

Cons

They hire everyone, and your team will make or break your experience. Genuine safety concerns on 3rd shift. You need to be prepared for people to act out. Senior management only have operation management skills. They are not good "people" managers at all. Only "number" managers.
