Pros

Even though waffle House was a challenging high volume fast-paced job. Not only serving were you doing you were doing your dishes calling tickets busting tables cleaning shift change duties and sometimes even cooking with only one other server. The overnight shift got challenging with intoxicated college kids but I felt like we were all one big happy happy family I have nothing negative really to say about waffle House except that it was challenging but that's what I liked about it too at the same time.

Cons

I really have I really have no cons besides it could be very challenging at times. But I feel like but I feel like overcoming challenges is what brings out the best in US

Pros

Solid pay for the industry Okay benefits Employee stock purchase plan Pretty consistent hours The actual work is difficult, but fun after you get good at it. Upward momentum is difficult, but the pay scales very well if you work your way up into management. Prepare for intense work if you do though.

Cons

They hire everyone, and your team will make or break your experience. Genuine safety concerns on 3rd shift. You need to be prepared for people to act out. Senior management only have operation management skills. They are not good "people" managers at all. Only "number" managers.
