Pros

When your chain of command is good, your store is good, and your numbers are good you won't make bad money for a recent college grad. Due to the low employee and especially the management retention rate the company is always hiring regarding of economic conditions so if your desparate for a job you always have an option here.

Cons

If your chain of command is uptight, your store isn't good and your numbers are poor life will be miserable, if not unbearable. If you're stuck with a store where people call out every day your life is going to be miserable. You either have to find someone available from your store or another that is available, not going to be in overtime and willing to come in and work the shift, otherwise you will have to cover it yourself.

Pros

Solid pay for the industry Okay benefits Employee stock purchase plan Pretty consistent hours The actual work is difficult, but fun after you get good at it. Upward momentum is difficult, but the pay scales very well if you work your way up into management. Prepare for intense work if you do though.

Cons

They hire everyone, and your team will make or break your experience. Genuine safety concerns on 3rd shift. You need to be prepared for people to act out. Senior management only have operation management skills. They are not good "people" managers at all. Only "number" managers.
