Pros
The office was in a central location, it was pretty well stocked, and the equipment was good. The work environment was good, flexible, and input from my position was welcome. I'm proactive, and this was a very well received attitude. I was given a green light at almost everything I wanted to do to improve our work and the service we provided. Our team really felt like a connected team of people, and our direct leadership was as supportive as they could be. This encouraged me to explore tasks outside of my role and allowed me to expand a lot professionally, which I'll forever be thankful for.
Cons
There's unstructured in the sense of "you wanna do that? Sure, it adds value, go ahead, and let me know how I can help you to make it ever better", of which there was a lot of from my direct leadership, but then there's simply lack of structure, of which there was a lot of, and that's something that comes from further up. Looking back, I get the sense that there simply wasn't enough structure to sustain the project, which ultimately led to its collapse and the progressive firing of more than 1300 people. If you needed stable, this wasn't the place to go. If you were instead craving the freedom to explore and try out new roles, this was 100% the place to go.
