Pros

- Benefits package was decent - You can learn a lot - You will meet some great people - Getting time off is usually never an issue

Cons

- Toxic work environment, some management plays favourites, some directors will cover for managers that don't do their jobs, which ultimately strains lower level employees - Transition into new roles and/or accounts is rarely smooth, often hindered by long process, unorganized directors that never want to adapt to new ways of working, expect to have to explain the same things to tenured employees many times over - Overall low morale, an endless stream of losses has created a dark cloud over everyone which has increased anxiety and stress in the workplace - Offshoring has eliminated junior roles which leaves many wearing multiple hats and are somehow expected to perform under tremendous pressure - Company culture feels absent. A lot of the events feel forced and there are low turnouts as everyone is constantly busy - Salary increases are scarce, only bonus available is for successful referrals thereby no real incentive to do good work - Promotions take a long time to approve, but you will be expected to carry out tasks that are above your paygrade while in process - RTO despite many (across several levels) not wanting it - Very often it feels like the org doesn't have a direction, everything is done reactively - There aren't any contingencies for coverage, and no standardized onboarding when personnel is added/moved to other accounts - Employees that don't set boundaries are often taken advantage of through unpaid overtime, when client demands afterhours work time in-lieu is never given or discussed, additionally management often asks employees to take on work outside of their expertise (with minimal training) with no additional compensation - Vocalizing concerns, burn out, mental health etc are answered with the employee assistance line, and the corporate subscription to meditation apps, although these tools can help, ultimately no amount of counseling and meditation can prevent you from drowning in work especially for accounts that aren't staffed properly. HR/people teams will claim they care about mental health, but aside from presenting power points they don't do much to support employees' well being - Pay is low relative to market rates and competing agencies This place is not worth considering for your career, additionally the company outlook isn't great with so many losses.

Pros

Flexible work environment, benefits, paid time off.

A lot of work. Work life balance can be difficult. Client expectations are sometimes unreasonable and leadership doesn’t set boundaries to protect teams.
