Pros
You get a lot of experience for your career in the future. You get to learn how to work alongside the sales department and the end client. You are able to see your creative work broadcasted. You learn how to manage yourself and your work professionally,
Cons
You are not going to be making much money. Some management staff can tend to micromanage. Since you work primarily with local clients, you may be asked to create things that you know do not look good just because "that's how we've always done it". Upward movement is not that available unless people retire, move on, or you decide you want to move laterally into a new department. The incentives usually tend to be snacks from the vending machine instead of bonuses or raises. Things may have changed since the time I was there.
