Pros

Good variety of work to explore and learn. Opportunity to learn and grow professionally. Many office locations.

Cons

Not paying overtime. Cannot count year end bonus as a payoff for overtime because it changes every year. High amount of work. Not much activities between the employees to know each other.

Training is a central commitment of WGI. We continue to hear that our team desires constant training and we remain focused on providing access to new and better training. Look for future improvement in 2020 as we roll out our Learning Management System as one of many components of our new Human Capital Management System. 2020 budgeting is well underway, and we can assure you that a generous commitment to internal and external learning is in our plan. For many years WGI has focused on a culture of rewards based on performance. You are correct, a lot of thought is behind our incentive compensation plan, and it’s designed to provide exceptional rewards for exceptional performance. Payment for overtime tends to create a system of paying for time rather than paying for efficiency. Our goals include recognizing the highest performers with the highest overall pay AND encouraging the least possible overtime, allowing our professionals to spend down time with family, friends and loved ones. If you overtime is excessive, we want to know- please speak up so that we can address this situation appropriately. Activities are location based, and we encourage each office to provide opportunities thorough the year. Likewise, please feel free to take the lead and organize the next after hours event for your location!

Pros

Excellent benefits, departments are very cooperative, professional environment, fair workload, good company morale, and encourages professional/educational development and business innovation.

Cons

Room for improvement with downstream communication, some departments are more rewarding to work in than others, growth and potential of promotion is strictly limited by education or certification level and much more difficult to accomplish for lower level employees, and very little to no SOPs in place for certain procedures.
