Pros

A growing company with lots of opportunity. Seems like every month the company is adding a new office or new skill set to the resume. Staff is encouraged to continue education. More certification / registrations means more rewards. Great locations in Florida for engineers who are tired of snow, ice & state income taxes.

Cons

This is not a good place if you are a complainer. Seems like those who are, don't stay very long. As fast as we are growing, 1 out of every 5 new hires don't make the cut. Longevity is rewarded.

Great feedback. Growth is the at the center of most successful professional service firms and WGI embraces the opportunities that growth provides to all of our professionals and shareholders alike. And, you are correct, there is little time for complaining. Constructive criticism and solutions drive our culture and we’ll listen to this type of feedback any time. Resumes are a constant challenge and it takes effort from the professional (who knows their experience better than anyone), our marketing team (who relies heavily on the data provided by you and the Project Initiation Forms), and the Proposal Manager (who often must customize resumes based on our client’s requests). While we do not have a single person on resumes, our administrative and marketing staff are available to help everyone keep their resume current.

Pros

Excellent benefits, departments are very cooperative, professional environment, fair workload, good company morale, and encourages professional/educational development and business innovation.

Cons

Room for improvement with downstream communication, some departments are more rewarding to work in than others, growth and potential of promotion is strictly limited by education or certification level and much more difficult to accomplish for lower level employees, and very little to no SOPs in place for certain procedures.
