Pros
They issue a decent bonus to employees. Merit increases are okay but managers have too much bandwidth to base them on personal opinions.
Cons
The Technology is so out dated, they don't understand flex time or the idea of remote work. I don't know how this company plans to move forward or keep up with its competition. The Benefits are terrible! Maybe in NY the coverage is accepted, but in NC few places accept the medical insurance offered and even less accept the dental. HR failed to do any research in NC before putting together the terrible plan. No retirement matching....really. Nothing. Paid Time Off - this is probably the worst part of this company. You're allowed to accrue only a few weeks before you lose the time off. The company at the very least should allowed women to save up enough PTO to take full maternity leave, but no, instead you're forced to apply for disability (b/c having a baby means you're disable obviously) disability is only 60% of your salary - no one can pay their bills with only 60% of their check. So in other words, unless you come back to work a few weeks after giving birth you're stuck paying bills out of savings. It feels as though the company punishes women for starting a family.
