Pros

Great building with great people around

Cons

The progression is very slow or at all, high pressure with lack of support for new starters. Very insensitive to employees overall well-being inside and outside of work.

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave this review. As an organization, we strive to meet the needs and expectations of our employees and appreciate your feedback to help us achieve this goal. We have implemented several initiatives within the last quarter to address the concerns you have mentioned. Specifically, we have increased the support for our new hires through an extensive onboarding and training experience. We have also implemented regular check-ins for all new hires with line managers and HR representation to discuss expectations and support as well as additional ways that we can help our employees achieve the desired goals. WEP has put in place several initiatives to help support work/life balance including wellness programs, increased employee recognition programs, and team engagement opportunities. Finally, we now have programs in place to support employee growth and development including a clear job trajectory for each role, an educational assistance program for continued professional development, and individualized support to help employees reach personal and professional career growth goals. Although we are sorry that you did not feel we met your expectations in these areas while you were with us, we appreciate your help in continuing to grow as an organization and wish you all the best in your future endeavors. Your feedback is valued, and we would be happy to arrange a time to discuss any additional recommendations you may have.

We’re glad to hear that you’ve had a positive experience at WEP Clinical and that our culture, leadership approach, and management style stood out to you. Supporting an environment built on trust, autonomy, and strong leadership remains a key focus as the organization continues to grow. We also appreciate your perspective on in-person office culture. We have tried to balance the fact that after Covid people want to come to the office less (1-2 days a week), the impact of this is that it affects the office experience. However, we will continue to find ways to improve this. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for being part of WEP Clinical.

Pros

I enjoyed my time at WEP Clinical. I was surrounded by a mostly incredibly supportive and wonderful team. I can honestly say that the tagline with every patient is truly something that WEP embodies. Additionally, there are so many great team members and there’s a lot of cross departmental interaction. Most notably the summer event and the holiday events are 10/10. I also really appreciate it how easy it was to move between departments. I know several people who had the opportunity to change roles, and it’s great for a company to value retaining employees and encourage career growth and changes. The exec team hosts a town hall once a quarter where employees are encouraged to ask any question(s) they have. Remote work is also a plus! I enjoyed visiting the office for team events and company events, but working from home with people across the globe is an underrated pro.

Cons

The salary is too low, and the favoritism is impossible to ignore. As much as I appreciated the work, I can’t justify staying somewhere that pays far below market rates. On top of that, favoritism is a real problem. Certain people consistently get away with doing the bare minimum, while the rest of the team is expected to pick up their slack. That extra workload means our own tasks get pushed aside or don’t get the attention they deserve. And unsurprisingly, the people doing the most work aren’t the ones getting rewarded. Additionally, the London office has better events and monthly lunches. The US office doesn’t even keep up the snack supply.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re sorry to hear that your time with us didn’t fully meet your expectations. We do not condone favoritism - performance, impact, and role requirements are the basis for growth and promotion decisions, and we continue to review and train our leadership to uphold these principles. We regularly benchmark our compensation against market data to ensure our salaries are competitive for the work we ask of our team, and we continually review both pay and management practices to improve the employee experience. Creating a strong culture remains a priority, and we work to balance employee growth, team connection, and operational objectives in support of our mission and our people.
