Pros
Most of co-workers are helpful; flexible start work hours (as long as complete 8 hours of work for the day)
Cons
Company does not take feedback from employees very well; always end up being blacklisted as long as you do not belong or close relationship to the top management group of people ("gang"). Too much politics played by top management and department heads, scrutinized, micro-manage, practices favoritism, there is almost no way for negotiation during appraisal. Top management and departmental heads only acknowledges, promotes and protects their "YES" men. Those who are not in tandem with Top management and departmental heads will be deemed as an eye-sore and try ways and means to "get-rid" of them. Company is TOTALLY owned and controlled by China entity although SG top management says otherwise. Company has retrenched their Singaporean workforce during the COVID-19 circuit breaker BUT keep/retain foreigner workers (WPs, EPs etc) even with the grants/support provided by SG govt to retain, retrain, reskill Singaporeans. Very unethical and uncalled for company in the view of positions redundancy but posts for new positions to be filled right after the retrenchment exercise and sometimes ask current employees for recommendations to fill in positions that are not even posted.
