Pros

Good to start a career in education and get your foot in the door. My colleagues were amazing and the apprentices were great to work with as well, for the most part.

Cons

I was overworked and underpaid compared to my colleagues, even though I had been there for much longer and when I asked about the pay scales, the reply was 'market forces'. There is no way to advance whatsoever. My team was understaffed for the majority of the time that I was there, what should have been a team of 10 at a minimum, regularly only had 4 members of staff for very long periods of time, interseeded with some contractors every now and then, who would leave whenever they got offered more money (don't blame them) which would leave the team in disarray. Someone in my position should have between 50-70 apprentices to look after, for over a year, I was the WBLM for between 120-150 apprentices across multiple companies.
