A great company starts from the people and that is so true at Vulcan. The people here at Vulcan are second to none. Outside of being the kindest, most supportive and hardest working people I have ever met, there are absolutely no egos here and we are all focused on moving in the same direction, working towards the same goal... which is building an amazing company and making enterprise companies' lives drastically easier with our cyber risk management platform.

As with any startup, but also given that we're in a new market, there is a ton of change and pivoting so you have be comfortable in that environment. You also need to be prepared to put work in... if you have a great idea, act on it. Don't expect there to be a huge amount of resources at your convenience.

Joining Vulcan has been the best decision I have ever made and I love talking about it! It's rare to find a company that hits on all 3 of these points (culture, technology and the role i.e. ability to make an impact, constantly growing, and feeling valued) but Vulcan has surpassed my expectations for all of them. The management team is some of the best that I've been able to work for/with and it's obvious that they truly care for and value the well being of each and every employee. Also even though here in the US we're all remote you don't feel disconnected to anyone - everyone is so nice and welcoming and there is never a feeling that you're bothering someone if you reach out or like you can't reach out to our CEO or upper management. The team is here for everyone, no matter position or title/seniority.

Not really a con but it could be for some - here at Vulcan, you have ownership and independence to get the job done and be creative however, if you need or are expecting someone to hold your hand or make decisions for you then this isn't the place for you.
