Not a lot of variety in my work.

The state offers excellent healthcare coverage and time off decent enough, although not that great.

The rules are not applied equally and different people have different expectations/application of the rules which is unfair. Management has too much power and in a pinch, you are referred to "speak to your manager". Information isn't shared internally and you have to find out from the media. The culture is very cliquish and treats some people as outsiders. People were woefully unfriendly here and I was luck to get a hello from people.
