Pros
- People get a lot of responsibility (along with the accountability...) - Fast paced (very fast paced) - Nothing is set in stone - organization is open to feedback on tech, processes, org - Work is interesting, but very challenging - Organization is growing at a rapid pace and there are many opportunities - has gone from one office to three offices in Denver
Cons
- Sink or swim environment - managers are so busy that they don't have a ton of time to coach or onboard people and the organization is so new that it doesn't have a great onboarding/training process - Things are constantly changing (sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse - although I imagine, it's being changed for a specific reason) - Nothing is set in stone - people are responsible for a function and specific tasks may or may not be entirely delineated - Rapid growth sometimes leads to confusions in roles and responsibilities
