Pros

Hours are great if you have a social life Employee discounts Good morale in your department Supposed 401K offerings

Cons

No feedback from management in 60 probationary period No training: you are fired for anything, when and if they choose They seem to enjoy firing! Things don't feel right: creepy secret shoppers, spying, set ups, reinventing the wheel every day Unionized thuggery seems to rule the roost...I will never work union now! Prioritizing speed vs safety is unclear No desire to keep new employees (especially college graduates and educated persons) for long This store has a bad reputation, and I really thought I was making a difference. Customers who generally complain about this store (in an affluent neighborhood) were quite pleased with my service!!

Pros

Excellent, straightforward, comprehensive training program and learning modules to ramp up quickly. Management was reasonable and attentive. Cons

This likely comes with the territory, but a significant percentage of the target customer demographic are of the needlessly disrespectful, uncivil, infantile, entitled, and rich variety. They contrive conflict and attempt to pin it on the workers, or needlessly change their order after it has been obtained. It is child's play. Company policy says to never call the police unless they are a threat to safety, but they absolutely do disturb the peace and ruin the experience for others. It doesn't help that there is an expensive (not necessarily upscale in terms of class) drinking establishment in the same plaza.
