Pros

* Good work life balance * Intensive international collaboration (mostly through Skype and videoconf), occasional travel. * If you work in Bangalore (India) or Wroclaw (Poland), then you'll have many opportunities because those IT Delivery centers are under expansion, the prospects for the other sites are very poor since 2015 as they are subject to a severe reduction program especially for technical profiles.

Cons

* After 4 years of contant reorganisation (2012,2013,2014,2015), the company culture is completely messed up and employee engagement has become very low, in a downward trend. The famous Volvo company culture has disappeared. * 2016 will be another year of restructuring in Volvo Group IT Services with unclear outcome. * Dysfunctional middle management, very opportunistically focused on their own career rather than business needs, competency, inspiring employees and creating a motivational working atmosphere. * In second half 2014 and 2015, many of the best employees in the major European and American centers left, those who remain are often low in motivation and many are looking to change employer. * Low payment compared to other companies. * Majority of the middle managers have no technical IT background at all, they are unable to develop their own inspiring vision on IT management and are mostly bench sitters, waiting for guidance from above rather than engaging pro-actively with their teams. * The French part of the ITS organisation is a poisonous pill for the rest : their managers are very offensive and don't understand what it takes to engage and inspire employees in the year 2015 !

Pros

Really inclusive environment and most of campus is already with ABW - activity based workplace (flexible seating).

Cons

Sometimes due to the very inclusive environment, decisions can take a little longer.

Pros

Vacation, parental leave, cafeteria, DEI.

Cons

I feel like decisions are made by people not involved in processes which results in day to day activities becoming more and more difficult. Unable to schedule projects to save their lives. So many last minute tests and drop in testing, theres almost no point to schedule testing.
