Pros

The office culture was fun and upbeat, I made lasting friendships there and gained great client experience. Working here set up my career in Tech.

Cons

The compensation was awful, there was no mentorship, and I didn't feel like I was given the tools I needed to succeed. I would not recommend working here if it is your first job out of school. At least not as an AM or PM. That being said, I did gain a lot of experience and got to put a lot of great projects on my resume.

Pros

Some of the side projects can be fun. I really liked my co-workers at the time. Life balance was good, not so much anymore one day work from home a week.

Cons

Eric is a free spirit type that will have a million wackado creative ideas, which is fun, but also can be controlling, yet unclear on feedback, and derails almost all projects. There will be a million changes, and most of the time you are picking projects up last minute when he gets bored and wants to move to something else. The files you get from him are giant messes. Side projects usually don't go anywhere either. Eric will disappear when there is bad news/any confrontation. He's inflexible to any pushback. Not clear on direction. Just wants to "make cool stuff" his way. Most of the leadership is out of office sporadically. HR is a joke. You can definitely feel like this is a Mormon company. Not being religious or male leaves you at a disadvantage. Voltage has high ambitions but no flexibility or plan for the future. Pay is not competitive, they prefer contract to hire, if they offer you a full time job they will offer you low. They use other employees/interns to try and spy on everyone else.
