Great people when I was there. My favorite job I've ever had. Unfortunately, the company moved Inside Sales to Tucson and I wasn't going to move there from NYC.

None. Only place that I actually liked everyone I worked with.

Vocabulary.com was an amazing company to work for and my dream job! Before the IXL acquisition, we had such a lovely culture of hardworking people who truly cared about educators. Every department worked together and we all celebrated the wins together. Also, we has free lunch on Wednesdays! The founders are so smart and they were very approachable. We used to do an annual symposium (before COVID of course) and got to learn so much about how the product works from people in different departments.

The IXL acquisition wasn't the right fit for Vocabulary.com's vision. Unfortunately the founders couldn't have known that.
