Cons
I had really high hopes when I joined the company and at first it seemed like a great culture and clear goals. But overall it’s a constantly chaotic environment, with re-orgs and layoffs every few months. C-suite seems completely ignorant of how to communicate change and they do not seem to have a real vision for the future. Middle managers are burned out and discouraged, leading to apathy and disengagement and thus very poor day to day leadership. Meanwhile, front line staff have a 40-hr a week job but easily 70 hours of responsibility. I am constantly overwhelmed and rarely receive the training or support I need to be successful. I feel certain my job will be eliminated sometime in the next 18 months as that is the general culture in the company, so I’m not especially motivated to give it my all. This used to be a highly desired place to work, but if you’re searching, I’d keep looking. Now is not the time to step on this roller coaster unless you thrive on stress and constant change.
