Pros

Best team spirit, collaboration, ensures employee empowerment, ownership of projects, best media/communication teachers in the industry, fun, understanding, laid back atmosphere, best at employee motivation, create close relations and friends, good place to start ones career.

Cons

Favoritism overpowers meritocracy, lower pay compared to other media companies, overworked, no personal life, personal life will depend on co-worker friendships, long hours and long nights, disorganized management, no recognition if employee is not outspoken or has high visibility, most managers are not proper leadership material.

Pros

Vivaki has gone a long way with the multiple restructures it has had in the last year. The company has seen a tremendous amount of turnover and majority of current employees have started within the year. With this said, a lot of historical knowledge has been lost which makes it very difficult to retain the level of excellence Vivaki once had. Although with multiple restructures, having a new team in place helps shape and adapt a new way of operating much faster. Things at Vivaki are in a much better place now then it has been in the last two years. The company has a solid structure on how to plan and execute initiatives. Work life balance at Vivaki is one of the best. People overall truly like each other which makes it a better place to work.

Cons

Personally I do not see any downsides working at Viavki. The amount of knowledge and exposure(internally and externally) you ingest while working here is one of a kind. I would say the company does not have a solid employee on boarding program and has a historic issue with issuing merit increases. Being held to the standards of the holding company, Vivaki has no control over when promotions/merit increases can be given unless the group allows it. So therefore you will see a lot of promotions with new titles but without any salary increase.
